The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The diagram illustrates the different stages of production of instant noodles.

Overall, this manufacturing process is consists of 8 steps starting from storage silos then, passing through a series of steps and finally ends at labeling and sealing compartments. Afterwards, these noodles are available in markets.

The making include silos account for flour storage area in the manufacturing factory, while mixer is utilized to mix oil, water in flour followed by the rollers to make dough sheets. Then, these sheets are transformed into dough strips after passing this part noodles discs are formed. These discs has been dried by applying cooking oil. Vegetables and spices are added in cups to make it delicious. At the end, labels are printing on their packets, and after sealing available into the markets. In contrast, noodles discs are easily formed.

Consequently, this process takes few months to complete but this is an efficient manufacturing method.
