The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the process used to manufacture instant noodles, from the storage of flour to the final labelling and sealing of the cups.

First of all, flour is stored in large silos and then transferred to a mixer, while water and oil are added. Moreover the resulting dough passes in rollers, as producing minor sheets. these sheets are then cut into strips and formed into round noodles discs.

In additionally, the noodles discs are cooked in oil and dried. this has been completed, the noodles are took into particular cups. At this point, vegetables and spices are added to provide test. Lastly, the cups are sealed and labelling and producing the finished instant noodles product ready for distribution.

Overall, there are eight main stages in production process. flour is first sored in silos before then mixed with water and oil to form dough. The doughs are cut into sheets and strips and then generated circle noodles discs.

Then it cooked and drying. Finally the noodles are placed in cups , where vegetables and spices are added before the container are sealed and labelled.
