The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the step-by-step process of manufacturing instant noodles.

Overall, the making of noodles begins with mixing flour from storage silos with water and oil in a mixer and ends with the labelling of cups to be ready for distribution. It mainly consists of the manufacturing and packaging process of the noodles, which is overall divided into eight parts.

In the manufacturing part, the process begins with the blending of flour from silos, water, and oil in a mixer, which is then converted into dough sheets. Additionally, these then change into dough strips with the help of rollers. Moreover, noodle discs are used to shape the noodles into the required form. Furthermore, at the end of this part, cooking oil is used to cook them and then dry them to move the noodles to the packaging process.

The packaging process starts with putting the required amount of noodles in the cups, then vegetables are added and spices in them. At the end of this process, cups are labelled and then seal them so that they are ready for distribution.
