The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing of instant noodles.

Overall, the production involve eight stages, beginning with storing of raw materials and ending with the labeling and sealing of noodles into cups. The dough is fried , cooked , dried and into shaped.

Initially, the process started with the storage of flour into silos, and then transferred into mixer where water and oil are added. The dough is formed and pressed into rollers converted into thin dough sheet.

Next, this dough sheet is cutted into strips and noodle discs are formed.

In the final steps, the noodle discs are fried into oil, and then dried to remove the excessive moisture. The dried noodle discs are packed into individual cups. The vegetables and spices are added to enhance the flavor. Consequently, these cups are labelled and sealed. Those cups are ready to sell and their commercial are seen on the TV.
