The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given picture shows information about the production of instant noodles. The production involves various processes to make it happen.

The first step in manufacturing of noodles involve basic materials such as flour which is carried into storage silos. The next step involves mixing of flour in which flour is put in a mixer along with water and oil. The mixture of flour is then rolled on through rollers to make dough sheets. Then the dough sheets are then cut into dough strips by a machine. The next process involves shaping these strips, where these strips are moulded into discs . Then these are passed though a frier in which noodles ae fried in oil and then dried through drier. Then comes the packaging, in which noodles are packed in cups and vegetables and spices are added into cups tp make up flavour. Then conveyer takes the cups for labeling where labels are pasted and sealing is done tightly. Then the instant noodles are ready to be transported for sale.
