The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given picture illustrates the manufacturing process of instant noodles.

Overall, it is a man made and cyclic process which completes in 8 stages starting with the storage of flour and end with the labeling and sealing of formed product.

First of all, the flour is stored in the silos. The stored flour is mixed with water and oil and is added in the roller. The mixer is mixed and a dough sheets is formed with the help of rollers. The dough sheets is converted into a dough strips, which is again shaped into a noodle discs.

After that, the cooking oil is added in the formed noodle discs and is dried until it formed a desired shape. The noodles are added in a cup where needed vegetables and spices are added to make the product more appealing. The made product is labelled and sealed making it ready to sell.
