The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The below diagram illustrates the various sequential steps of the manufacturing process of instant noodles .

Overall, the process consists of total eight steps. It begins with the procedure in which the flour is storing in a large sotrage silos and in the last phase of the production there is a process of wrapping and labeling the noodles.

In the first step, flour put in a silos and the next process includes the mixing procedure where water and oil added as well. Following this, the rollers make it into a dough sheets. The fourth step make layers into sheets of dough. After that, the dough sheets are cut into strips which called noodle discs.

Subsequently, addition of oil and the process of drying happens to make it more dry to proceed. In the ending steps, vegetables and spices include in the cups and in the final step to ensure the packing of noodles, labeling and sealing part done
