The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of instant noodles.

Overall, process start with flour storage into the silos and going through the eight steps (storage silos, mixer, dough sheets, noodles discs, cooking or drying, vegetables and finally labeling including sealing) to make noodles ready for final delivery.

Initially, flour storage has been done at storage silos through the trucks at the manufacturing unit which will next go for mixing with oil and water into the mixer. Before processing the dough sheets it went through rollers to refine it following the next step doughnut strips. Once dough ready it pass through the noodles discs to give shape to the noodles.

Once noodles ready using cooking oil deep fry them and next step of drying noodles will start to store them in cups. When noodles poured into the cups after that vegetables and spices added into the packaging and move further for the final state labelling and sealing of the noodles.
