The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The diagram illustrates the manufacturing of instant noodles.

Overall, it is evident that the manufacturing includes eight main stages. Initiating from storage silos and concluding to labelling and sealing the containers of noodles.

First of all, the process started from storage silos where trucks delivered main ingredient "flour" which further transferred to a mixer. Water and oil mixed with flour to make it a dough. The prepared dough passed through the rollers to make them dough sheets. The conveyer belt turned the dough sheets into the dough strips. At next stage, the prepared noodles discs cooked in the cooking oil and then dried for following stages.

At level seven, cooked and dried noodles discs were placed inside the cups with vegetables and spices mix. In final stage, labelling and sealing of the cups took place after closing the noodles cups with lids. Labelled cups of instant noodles were transferred for distribution.
