The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The process diagram below, illustrates the information how instant noodles are made.

Overall, the visual data depicts that it is a linear process done by using various steps and equipment used by skilled workers.

To begin the process, flour has to be transported from storage vessels to a company using a truck. Secondly, the flour is poured into a mixer where it is combined using water and oil. Once the dough is prepared it passes through series of rollers to from flat sheets. These sheets are then cut into strips and shaped into round noodle discs.

In the subsequent stages, the noodle discs are cooked in oil and then goes for drying process. After dryings the noodles are putted into individual cups. Dried vegetables are spices are added to each cups before labelling and final sealing take place. Finally, the finished noodles cups are ready for distribution.
