The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The picture illustrates the way instant noodles are made from the flour.

Overall , the manufacturing process needs a lots of advanced machineries. Firstly , flour reached the factories in the truck. Then the flour was stored in storage silos placed in factories. However , second step includes mixing. In the mixer flour was added by workers in the factory. The flour was converted in the solid dough by adding water and oil. Rollers were used to make the dough flat sheets.

However , dough sheets were passed through a machine to cut it in the strips. Then the strips were used to make noodles discs. Discs undergo the process of heating to make it cooked and completely dry. Whereas , cups were arranged already in a row. Workers add items including spices and vegetables in the cups. The labels for instant noodles were already prepared according to the requirements of the owner. Lastly , labels are attached on the cups and the cups are sealed completely. The cups of instant noodles are prepared . However cups are loaded into the truck and were sold in the different supermarkets .
