The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The process diagram illustrates the way of making instant noodles.

Overall, the eight step are involved within the cyclic process of manufacturing instant noodles. From kneading dough to cooking discs and labeling and sealing them inside plastic paper.

Firstly, flour is fetched from storage silos using trucks. For kneading dough, the flour, water and oils has been poured within the mixer. Prepared dough passed through the rollers, then the thin sheets from flour's dough are produced. The created thin sheets reached at fourth stage of process, in which they have been cut in form of strips.

In the fifth step of process, strips are then converted in the shape of discs using noodle discs machine. These discs are cooked and dried after it. Finally the vegetables and spices are kept inside the cups with noodles. At last, the cups are then labeled and sealed .
