The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram demonstrates the complete production process of noodles, from raw materials to labelling and supplying. It essentially begins through a mass supply of flour supply from the storage, proceeding towards the mixer. At this stage, mixer utilises water and oil added additionally, along side the flour, further making dough sheets. As a result, these processed dough sheets are transferred to another set of machinery which shapes the sheets into noodle-shaped strips, further configurating it's shape into packet-suitable circular discs. Consequently, the raw cooking takes place, by frying and drying, then moving towards the addition of cooking ingredients such as oil, spices and vegetables. At last, the whole manufacturing process concludes after implementing labels and complete sealing of the noodle packets to prevent leaks or hygene issues.
