The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

Here is a process of instant noodle manufacture. The process includes eight steps which are described here. First of all, the step involves that the flour from storage silos is added into the mixer with the required amount of water and oil. After the function of mixer is done appropriately, the material from mixer is rolled onto the roller with the help of roller sheets, which is the third step. Afterwards, the dough is passed through the dough strips and go to noodles discs, in which the dough is added with cooking oil and drying to shape the noodles. Moving on to the seventh step in which the cups are available to add vegetables and spices to them. Finally, the last step is responsible for the labelling and sealing of the packs of instant noodles and they are ready to be shipped.
