The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of instant noodles.

Overall, this is manmade process that involves eight steps performed on one single machine with a belt passing through before being transported to market for public use.

At first, silos and flour that are stored in large containers are mix togather by adding water and oil in a large cylindrical holder. They are made into dough sheets using the rollers on the moving belt and are then cut into strips to make noodles discs which are place into four containers, equally distributed.

These discs are then cooked with oil and dryed before they are added into cups filled with vegetables and spices that are coming out from a retangular shape on a belt . After this, the belt goes through another rectangular shape on it's way to the final process of labelling and packaging before they can be used for commercial purposes.
