The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The process depicts the information about how instant noodles are manufactured.

Overall, it can be seen from the process that there are several stages for this beginning with storage siols and ending with labelling and sealing.

To begin, first stage is storage siols where flour is stored then it goes in mixer where water and added in it to mix it well and roller also included in this stage which helps to roll the flour. Afterwards, it goes on dough sheets where it come in form of flat sheet and then it goes on dough strips where it streched in form of noddles and goes in noodle disc where they give shape them in noodles.

Furthermore, the next stage is cooking and drying where noodle get cooked and dry them properly. In addition, it goes in cups where they add vegetables and some spices in noodles. The final stage is labelling and sealing where noodles are labelled properly and cups get sealed and they are ready to sell .
