The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illsutrates the manufacturing process of instant noodles.

The first step in the making of instant noodles is collecting flour from the storage silos, then the flour is taken to the mixer, In order to make the dough for noodles, water, oil and flour is added in the mixer and the mixing process starts, once the dough is ready it is passed through the rollers so that the dough can be converted into thin dough sheets, in step 4 those thin sheets underago a process in which they are sliced to become strips, after the strips are ready they are rolled into a circular shape and are called noodles discs, after that they are cooked in oil for a certain time and dried afterwards.

Then comes the packaging process, after the cooking and drying process noodles the packaged into cups with added vegetables and spice sachets. a lable is added to the packaging and the cups are than sealed. When all these processes are done, they instant noodles are sent in markets ready to be bought, cooked and enjoyed.
