The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

As the diagram below demonstrate how instant noodles are manufactured. Its manufacturing process consist of 8 steps.

As the first step shows that the flour are stored in large containers following this the second step is mixing in which the water and oil are mixed in a mixer then in the third step the dough sheets are made through rollers.

Then in the fourth step the dough strips are made which is then converted into round disc-shaped piece of noodles, then the noodles are cooked in cooking oil which is then dried to remove the moisture. Then in the cups the vegetables and spices are added into the noodles to add flavour and in the second last step the sealing is done to prevent the noodles from any kind of contamination and after this in the last step labelling is done to avoid sealing , and labelling is also important for people who have allergies to certain food.
