The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The digram outlines the manufacturing process of the instant noodles.

Overall, eight stages are involved in the whole process. Beginning from raw material storage and followed by steps invovling machineries till the packing for commercial purposes.

A glance at the schematic diagram reveals that the process of preparing instant noodles starts by storing the flour in silos. After that, water and oil are mixed in the flour before putting it into a mixer. Subsequently, the meshed raw material coming from the mixer rolled using rollers in order to make dough sheets. At the fourth step, a machine is converting the dough sheets into strips, and the later stage involves preapring the noodle disks from the strips.

Furthermore, frying and drying take place using a tub and a rack in the sixt step, respectively. Before the final stage, some vegetables and spices are added after putting the dried noodle discs in different cups. Finally, the prepared cups containing coocked noodle disks, vegetables and spices are then went through labelling and sealing, and the out-and-out process of prepaing instant noodles finishes after this step.
