The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The figure below presents how instant noodles are prepared.

Overall, the diagram shows the manfacturing of noodles in several steps consisting of 8 steps. Begining with storing of silos and ending with the packing process by labelling and sealing instant noodles. Few machinery has been used such as rollers making dough sheets, stips cutter and dics molds for shaping noodles.

The diagram starts with the preparation of dough. Containers of flour are poured into storage silos. From there it is put into the mixer. In it, water and oil is added. After that, it is mixed properly forming a dough. Following that, the dough is passed through rollers. The roller flatens dough into sheets. Dough sheets are than passed from another machine that makes dough strips. Furthermore, strips then goes into a round mold making noodles dics. It is then cooked in oil and after that the noodles cake is dried.

After the noodles cake is prepared, it is placed into cups. Vegetables and spices are also added in cups for flavouring. Finally the packing process starts. It is labelled and sealed for selling now.
