The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The pictorial representation illustrates the data related to the several steps involved in the production of instant noodles.

Overall, it is witnessed that 8 steps are involved in the manufacturing of noodles. Moreover, process begins with mixing of flour with water and last with labelling of instant noodles.

At first, flour is carried to the factories through trucks from storage silos and with the help of machinery it get mixed with water. Moreover, from the mixture of flour and water dough sheets are prepared on the rollers then sheets get cut into the long strips. Afterwards, noodles discs are formed and they get fried in the oil which will also helps to dry faster. In the manufactured cups vegetables and species are added along the half cooked noodles so they can get ready for packaging process. At last, labelling and sealling are done in the packaging deparment and end product is ready for sale.
