The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing instant noodles. Overall, it is a multi-stage process that involves several steps, beginning with the transportation of flour to storage silos,to forming into dough sheets to cutting into strips,adding vegetables & oil and ending with the sealing and labelling of the finished product.

First, in the manufacturing of instant noodles, flour is transported by the trucks to the storage silos. It is then transferred to a mixer,where water and oil are added.The mixture is subsequently passed through rollers to form dough sheets.At the fourth stage,it is cut into dough strips to make noodles.Furthermore,these noodles are shaped into disc.

Next, the noodle discs are cooked in oil and then left to dry. Once they have dried, vegetables and spices are added. The noodles are then placed into cups, which are subsequently sealed and labelled. Finally, the finished instant noodles are ready for distribution to consumers.
