The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram demonstrates the process of manufacturing instant noodels on a large scale using machinery.
Overall, it consists of eight steps initiating from carrying flour out of storage silos to mixers and forming noodles dough sheets and ends up with sealing and labelling the noodles cups for ready to go out.
At first, flour is taken out from storage house towards the mixer using trucks. It is mixed with water and oil using a mixer followed by passed over the rollers to form dough sheets. Dough sheets are then placed on dough strips that results into formation of noodles discs.
The process continues with addition of cooking oil to that noodles discs and then carried out the process of drying before packing. After dryig, noodles are packed into cups with extra vegetables and spices added. At last step, cups are properly sealed and ensure to be completlely labelled before going out.
