The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the stages involved in producing and bottling honey, from initial collection by bees through to the final packaged product.

Overall, the process consists of eight main stages, beginning with nectar collection in the wild and culminating in the honey being sealed in jars ready for sale. It can be divided into two broad phases: production within the hive, and extraction and bottling by beekeepers.

The process begins when bees collect nectar from flowers and carry it back to the hive, where it is stored in honeycomb cells. The bees then fan their wings continuously, causing excess water to evaporate from the nectar. Once this stage is complete and the honey has reached the desired consistency, the cells are sealed with a layer of wax.

At this point, beekeepers remove the honeycomb frames from the hive. These are placed in a centrifuge, which spins rapidly to extract the honey through centrifugal force. The extracted honey is subsequently filtered to remove any wax or debris, before finally being poured into jars and sealed for distribution
