The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The provided process diagram illustrates the process of production of instant noodles in a factory which involve eight stages.

Overall, the process starts with the flour storage which is added to mixture and in the last produce after the labelling and sealing the bottels.

To commence with, in initial stage the flour is added to mixer from storage and mix it well with water and oil, subsequently the mixture is then passes through rollers and converted into dough sheets. The dough sheets are then subjected to dough stripers which strips the dough and in the fifth phase the noodle discs are formed.

Going into depth, the noodle discs are then frying in oil and dry it. ln the next step the dryed and cooked noodle discs is added to cups and add some spices and vegetables, and in the last phase the cups filled with noodles spices and vegetables are subjected to labelling machine which seal it and the label it and send it to market for selling
