Student answer (Band 5.5)
The provided diagram explains the multistage continuos process for manufacturing the instant noodles.
Overall, it shows how the flour from the storage silos passing through a series of steps is converted into noodles which are finally sealed and ready to be sold into the market.
The very first step for manufacturing the instant noodles starts with the flour moving from the storage silos to the mixer machine where water and oil is added into it. The mixer softens the flour into dough which is then passed onto rollers where dough is pressed into dough sheets. These sheets are then transferred to a machine, being converted into strips of dough. The strips are then transformed into the noodle discs which are cooked in oil and then dryed.
The noodles are then packed into cups where vegetables and spices are added in it . Eventually, the last step involves the labelling and sealing the cups which are then ready to sell.
