The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given diagram illustrates that how manufacturing of noodles takes place.

Overall, although production of noodles is not a difficult process , following all the wight steps chronologically are essential to maintain good quality of product. Flour is taken as a raw material.

In the first stage, flour is stored in storage silos from the truck. In the next step, flour is mixed in the mixer where water and oil are also added. After that, rollers are essential to make dough sheets. Than, noodle discs are formed , once dough sheets are converted into a long strips of dough.

Further, noodle discs are fried in a big fryer and later cool it down to make noodles dried . Moreover, dry noodle discs are put into individual cups with vegetables and spiced on it . Once it is done, sealing and labelling of cups takes place. Now instant noodles are ready to manufacture.
