The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The illustration displays the process which includes the manufacturing of instant noodles.

Overall, the process involves eight steps, starting with extracting flour out fromthe storage silos and finally ending with sealed and labelled instant noodle cups that are ready for sale.

Initially, the process begins with taking out the flour from the storage silos and transferring it to the factory site. Followed by addition of ingredients like water and oil to the flour and mixing them together in a mixer. Third step is making dough sheets from the mixer after which these sheets are cut into thin strips. then these strips are transformed into noodle discs and cooked in cooking oil and ultimately dried.

At last packaging begins with placing these fried noodles into cups with addition of extra elements like vegetables and spices to it. Last step is labelling and sealing these cups so that these can be sold in different stores.
