The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

This diagram illustrates how quickly noodles are produced.

Overall, the process consists of 8 main stages, beginning with storage silos and ending with labelling and sealing. The process is linear, with several stages taking place in between. At the first stage, storage silos of flour. After that, mixer mixes water and oil. Once this has been completed, dough sheets are extracted from rollers. Then, noodles discs are go to cooking in oil and drying stage occured.

Following this pattern, the noodles cups come out and subsequently vegetables and spices are added to it. In the final stage of the noodles production, labelling is done on the wrappers, before the process eventually ends with sealing of that wrappers. Thereafter, the cups are sent to the stores.

Overall, the process of instant menufactring of noodles follows a clear sequence of the procedure from the start of storage silos to the labelling at the end.
