The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The diagram above illustrates how manufacterer produce instant noodles.

First of all, the process begins with suppliers supplying flour into the storage silo, the flour would later be transported into a mixer which contains both water and oil where the basic ingredients would be mixed together. After the mixing process, the ingredients will turn into dough which it would go through a roller and gets flatten until it results in forms of sheets. These sheets would be sliced individually and became dough strips. Once this process is done, the dough strips will be reshape for the last time, turning them into discs.

The next step involves cooking the dough and drying right after, how it works is by basking them in what seems like hot cooking oil, and then sent those cooked noodles into a dryer. Finally, the discs gets packaged into their own individual cups alongside various vegetables as well as spices, and last but not least each cups gets labeled and sealed.
