The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

This processing diagram illustrates the steps that involved for the production of the instant noodles.

Overall, there are 8 steps involved in the manufacturing of noodles namely, storage silos, mixer, dough sheets, dough strips, noodles discs, cooking and drying, vegetables and spices and lastly labelling and sealing the product. The procss begin with the storage silos and end at the labelling and sealing of noodles.

Firstly, the flour kept in storage silos and carried it into the mixer then add required water and oil into the mixer. After that, the prepared material passed from the rollers which then make dough sheets. Additionaly, dough sheets than changed into long dough strips.

Furthermore, noodles discs are formed and cooked into oil and then dried. Next, the vegetables and spices were prepared and kept into cups . Finally, the cups then undergo from labelling and sealing process and add labels on the cups.
