The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of instant noodles. The process goes into 8 steps before the production of instant noodles.

Overall, the process follows a multi-stage sequence which includes several important steps. It starts from storage silos and ends at sealing and labelling.

To begin with, the flour are transported to storage silos by trucks than it undergoes into the process of mixing with water and oil with an electronic machine. Afterwards, it went into rollers to give flour a shape of dough sheets before converting it into a dough strips.

Moving further, the dough strips had given a shape of noodles discs which was then heated in cooking oil in the sixth step. After frying the noodles it comes in the drying process.Then, the dried noodles was mixed with vegetables and spices which further placed in the cups. At last, the cups was labelled and sealed for marketing.
