The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The diagram illustrates the process of instant noodles, from raw materials to final product and packaging.

Overall, the entire process is continued and consisted 8 steps such as collection of raw ingredients, mixing, sheet making, striping, shaping, drying and frying, seasoning, and labelling.

The process starts with the collection of raw materials and stored into the silos. To making a pasta, flour is the base ingredient is required for that. After that, flour is going into the mixture tank. In that, flour is mixed with water and oil to make a dough of making noodles. Then, Dough was passed through roller to forming the sheet of the dough. After that, long and wide sheet cut into the long strips by using cutters or knives. to give the cup shape to that strip, noodles discs are used and cut into the desire shape. in continue, cups of dough are dried by using the continuous air dryer and then fried into the cooking oil at the temperature 200-degree Celsius. Once, frying is done, seasoning is sprinkled on that cups and finally they are packed into the plastic bags by using packing machine and provide label on the bags. Finally, they are going for the sell.
