The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

This diagram illustrates the process of production of instand noodles. There are eight steps in this process, whichs begins with adding flour in storage silos and ends with the labelling and sealing.

Overall, making of instant noodles consist of eight stages. It started with adding flour into storage tanks, water and oil are added to make mixture and ends with the labelling and sealing of packets between these are the steps of shaping and adding took place.

Initially, flour is bought from the factories and stored in silos then water and soil are added to a mixture which then kneaded to make dough. After that this dough is paased through rollers to make dough sheets these sheets then cuttes in to strips.

In oder to make instant noodles, these strips are then shaped in to a discs which looked like noodles. The process of cooking and drying started, once this done it is poured in cups. Furthermore, vegetables ans spices are added in it. At final stage, labelling and sealing started. Now the instant noodles are ready to deliver.
