Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 150 words, stopping abruptly at 97 words. Consequently, the description of the manufacturing process is severely incomplete and only responds to the task minimally. While the introduction attempts to outline the diagram, the body paragraphs cover only the first few stages of the eight-step process, completely omitting the cooking, drying, flavoring, and packaging stages. There is no overall summary or adequate reporting of the main features due to the premature ending.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The writing demonstrates some basic organisation, utilizing transitional phrases such as "Overall" and "After that" to sequence the early stages of the process. However, there is no clear overall progression because the text cuts off before finishing the process. Paragraphing is fragmented and underdeveloped, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the abrupt shift from dough strips to discs without sufficient cohesive links.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for describing a manufacturing process, featuring basic terms like "machines," "water," and "oil." There are noticeable word choice and collocation errors that cause some difficulty for the reader, such as "loading flour from the storage silos and sifting it into mixer" and "worker add water and oil it came out as a dough." Spelling is generally acceptable, but the range of vocabulary remains restricted to elementary levels.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writing displays a very limited range of structures, with mostly simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex forms. Frequent grammatical errors occur throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement and missing articles, such as "worker add water" and "turning it into a thin sheet." Tense usage is inconsistent, switching awkwardly between present and past forms (e.g., "it came out" versus "turns it into"), which causes some difficulty for the reader.
