After the mixing process it's moved further by rollers to dough sheets where it's third stage take place. In the next step it moves toward dough strips where the processing occurs after that in the next step dics are present there the material is filled in this dics for shaping purpose of noodles. Moreover, when the dics are filled oil is added to it and cooking process started after cooking this noodles are dryed and filled up in small cups.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by providing an overview of the instant noodle manufacturing process and outlining the main stages from flour delivery to final sealing. An overall statement is included, noting the eight primary stages shown in the diagram. However, some aspects of the process are under-developed or inaccurately described. For instance, the student states that "silos are created from the flour," which misinterprets the diagram where flour is transported into storage silos. Furthermore, the description of the intermediate stages becomes somewhat generalized and repetitive, mentioning that materials are filled into discs and oil is added, but omitting key details such as the transition from sheets to strips and discs. To reach a higher level, the response needs to report all sequence steps with greater precision and avoid misinterpreting diagrammatic relationships.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The text maintains a coherent overall arrangement, successfully guiding the reader from the beginning of the manufacturing process to its conclusion. Paragraphing is utilized to separate the introduction, the middle stages, and the final packaging steps. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty. The student relies on basic transitional markers such as "In the next step," "After that," and "Moreover," which creates a repetitive flow. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, such as when pronouns like "it" and "they" are used ambiguously without distinct antecedents (e.g., "after cooking this noodles are dryed"). Improving organizational variety and ensuring clearer connections between sentences would enhance the overall logical progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, successfully incorporating process-specific terms such as "manufacturing process," "mixer," "water and oil," "rollers," "spices," and "labeling." However, the range is limited, and there are noticeable word choice, word form, and spelling errors that occasionally detract from precision. Examples include spelling mistakes like "dryed" instead of "dried," awkward phrasing such as "silos are created from the flour," and non-standard plurals or noun forms like "dics" instead of "discs." Attempts to use less common vocabulary are restricted, and vocabulary choices remain relatively basic. To achieve a higher band, a wider and more precise range of lexical items should be employed with correct spelling and natural collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, though simple structures tend to dominate. There are noticeable errors in grammar, punctuation, and mechanics throughout the text. Run-on sentences and punctuation omissions occur frequently, as seen in "manufacturing processof instant noodles is based on 8 stages. In the initial stage..." and "take place. In the next step..." Agreement and article usage also show occasional lapses, such as "this noodles are dryed" (plural/singular mismatch) and missing articles before nouns. While these errors rarely impede overall communication, their frequency prevents the writing from demonstrating good control over complex structures. Greater accuracy in punctuation, subject-verb agreement, and clause construction is required to progress.
