Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify the process as beginning with storage silos and ending with labelling and sealing, and you mention several relevant stages, including mixing, shaping, cooking, and adding vegetables and spices. However, the account is only partially accurate and developed: the opening says there are eight parts, but the sequence is not clearly or consistently reported. For example, the description introduces “vermicelli,” which is not shown, and says dough sheets are converted into it before the noodles discs stage. The overview also repeats the start and finish rather than summarising the main transformation from flour to packaged cups. To improve, give a concise, accurate overview and describe each stage in order, including the rollers forming sheets and strips, the discs being cooked and dried, and the final cup packaging.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response starts with an introduction, then attempts to describe the process from storage to packaging. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the first two paragraphs repeat the same start-to-finish information, while the main paragraph circles back to earlier stages and repeats details. Connectors such as “and then” and “after” are used repeatedly, and some links do not clarify the sequence—for example, “After dough strips process vermicelli added into noodles discs.” Paragraphing is present but does not yet create a clear overview followed by a well-ordered account. Plan the stages in sequence before writing, use one overview paragraph, and use precise transitions such as “next,” “subsequently,” and “finally” only where they help the reader follow the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant process vocabulary, including “storage silos,” “dough sheets,” “dough strips,” “noodles discs,” and “labelling + sealing,” so the topic is recognisable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated or imprecise, such as “adding” and “mixture of the items.” Some word choices make the process unclear: “mixing these ingredients in roller” does not accurately describe the mixer, and “vermicelli” is not a feature shown in the diagram. Spelling errors such as “procees,” “insatnt,” and “machienes” are also noticeable. Use the diagram’s exact labels where possible, vary process verbs appropriately, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts to link stages in longer sentences, but the range of sentence structures is limited and errors are frequent. Subject–verb agreement is inconsistent in “The noodle manufacturing process consist” and “process start,” while verb forms are faulty in phrases such as “Storage silos adding flour” and “they adding cooking.” Articles and prepositions are also missing or misused, as in “in roller” and “added into noodles discs.” These errors sometimes make the sequence hard to interpret. Most statements rely on similar simple patterns, with repeated use of “and then.” Practise accurate passive forms for process descriptions, such as “The flour is mixed with water and oil,” and check agreement, articles, and verb forms in each sentence.
