Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the process as beginning with flour storage and ending with labelling and sealing, and you include several key stages: mixing, forming sheets, strips and discs, cooking and drying, and adding vegetables and spices. This gives the reader a relevant account of the main sequence. However, the overview is not fully accurate: there are eight numbered stages, but the process also includes rollers between them, so “8 steps” is imprecise unless you specify that you mean the numbered stages. Some details are unclear or unsupported, particularly “how safe it is”; the diagram does not show safety. The account also does not clearly explain that the finished product is sealed in cups. A more precise overview and fuller description of the final packaging stage would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, an overview, a description of the early and middle stages, and a final sentence about packaging. The sequence is generally easy to follow, with markers such as “At first” and “at the last.” However, progression is sometimes weakened by unclear links and sentence boundaries. For example, “Going through the rollers to the next steps as Dough sheets, strips and noodles discs” is a fragment, and the following stage is joined to it without a space after the full stop. The overview’s “Which is starts” also interrupts the opening. Organise the process into clearer stages and use linking phrases to show how one stage leads to the next, rather than relying mainly on basic time markers.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant process vocabulary, including “storage silos,” “mixer,” “rollers,” “dough sheets,” “noodles discs,” and “labelling and sealing.” These terms help identify the stages, and “raw form” and “ready” attempt to summarise the transformation. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less clear: “the way of noodles manufacturing,” “main feature,” and “it took in a cup” are not natural descriptions of this process. Spelling errors such as “spics,” “ingridiant,” “secound,” and “manufucture” also reduce precision. Aim for accurate process collocations and use the diagram’s labels consistently, such as “ingredients are added” and “the noodles are placed in cups.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
There are attempts to combine stages into longer sentences, and the reader can usually understand the intended sequence. However, control of sentence structure and verb forms is inconsistent. Examples include “Which is starts with storage silos,” “it take total 8 steps,” and “the flour is mixing with water and oil”; these need a clear subject and correctly formed verb phrases. The sentence beginning “Going through the rollers” is incomplete, while “when labelling and sealing has been done now it can sell” has problems with clause structure and the passive construction. Capitalisation and punctuation are also uneven, including “At first, The” and the run-together “discs.And.” Practise complete sentences and consistent passive forms, for example, “The flour is mixed with water and oil.”
