Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the process as a sequence from flour storage through mixing and shaping to cooking, drying, and packaging, and your overview recognises that the noodles are eventually labelled and sealed. These are relevant main features. However, some stages are reported imprecisely: the diagram shows dough being formed into sheets, cut into strips, and shaped into noodle discs, but “In contrast” does not clarify this progression, and the final addition of vegetables and spices to cups is only briefly described. The overview also says the process starts “through the different stage in the machines,” which is too general to summarise the main transformation clearly. To strengthen the response, give a more precise overview and report each key stage in order, including the cups and finished product.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and a description that follows the manufacturing sequence. Sequencing expressions such as “At the beginning,” “subsequently,” and “Ultimately” help the reader follow the stages. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “The third step is roller in this after mixed the flour going to roller” combines several ideas without a clear relationship, while “In contrast” is unsuitable because the next stage is a continuation, not a comparison. The final sentence, “To sum up they labeled and sealed,” also feels detached from the preceding packaging details. Use clearer sentence boundaries and link each stage directly to the next; paragraphing the process into shaping/cooking and packaging would also improve progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant process vocabulary, including “storage silos,” “mixing machine,” “dough sheet,” “strips,” “vegetables and spices,” and “sealed.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of the production stages. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making the description less precise: “wire shapes” is not the clearest description of dough strips, “cover with cups” does not express that noodles are placed into cups, and “low oil” misrepresents the cooking stage, which uses oil. Spelling errors such as “lables” and “stroage” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise process vocabulary and check spelling and collocations, especially for actions such as forming, cooking, filling, labelling, and sealing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the overall sequence can generally be understood. However, control of sentence structure and verb forms is inconsistent. For example, “the flour mixed with water and oil” needs a passive verb form, while “the flour going to roller and making there dough sheet” lacks a clear finite verb and has an unclear subject. There are also agreement and tense problems in “making of noodles were started” and “they labeled and sealed,” where the process would be more consistently described in the present passive. Some sentences run together, particularly the description of the rollers and dough sheets. Practise accurate present-simple passive forms and use shorter, complete sentences to make each stage clear.
