Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify several relevant stages, including flour entering silos, mixing with water and oil, shaping the dough, adding vegetables and spices, and labelling cups. However, the account only partially reports the process and includes important inaccuracies or unsupported details. The diagram shows noodles being cooked in oil and then dried; it does not say that water is dried, that workers add tags to make cups attractive, or that the cups are sealed with “specialized radiations.” The overview is also missing: state clearly that production moves from flour preparation through shaping and cooking to packaging. Focus on the main stages shown and avoid adding explanations or claims that the diagram does not provide.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response follows a broadly chronological order, and transitions such as “First of all,” “After that,” and “At the end” help the reader recognise a sequence. However, progression becomes unclear when the description shifts from the process to comments about attractive packaging, noodle categories, and why people like noodles. Several stages are crowded into one sentence, such as “the Dough sheets than passed to the doughstripes and the noodles discs,” so the relationships between them are difficult to follow. Organise the response into a brief introduction and overview, followed by clearly sequenced process stages. Use linking phrases selectively and make each sentence describe a distinct part of the diagram.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “storage silos,” “mixer,” “rollers,” “vegetables,” and “spices,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the description less clear, including “doughstripes,” “meathode,” “pak(ed),” and “radiations.” Some expressions are also unsuitable for a process report, such as “give them a decent look” and “playing with.” Aim for precise process vocabulary and accurate collocations: for example, describe dough as being formed into strips, noodles as being dried, and cups as being sealed. Avoid informal or invented details, and check spelling carefully so the reader can follow each stage without hesitation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts to connect stages with time expressions, but sentence structures are mostly simple and errors are frequent. Examples include “we want to see that how noodles are manufactured,” “flour in bring in the storage silos,” and “After that it sent to the rollers,” where clause structure and verb forms are faulty. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “In next step cups are used” and the run-on sequence about labelling and attractiveness. These errors sometimes make the process difficult to interpret. Practise accurate passive forms, which suit a manufacturing description—for example, “The flour is mixed with water and oil”—and use complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs.
