Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You identify the process as a whole and include several key stages, from flour storage and mixing through cooking, adding vegetables and spices, and final packaging. The overview also recognises that labelling and sealing occur at the end. However, some stages are misreported or unclear: the dough is formed into sheets, cut into strips, and shaped into noodle discs, whereas “passing under dough strips” and “these noodles put into the noodles discs” do not accurately explain this sequence. The account also confuses when cups are introduced: cups are added with the vegetables and spices after cooking and drying. Covering the stages accurately and distinguishing the main transformations would make the summary more complete and precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs describing the process. Sequencing expressions such as “First of all,” “After that,” and “Furthermore” help signal movement through the stages. However, progression is weakened by repetition: the overview and the first body paragraph both describe flour, mixing, and dough formation, while the final paragraph revisits packaging without a clear connection to the preceding stage. Some links are also difficult to follow, particularly “Moreover, noodles put into the cups and cups are passing through sheets.” Organise the stages once in their exact order, and use clear references such as “the cooked discs” and “the filled cups” to connect each step.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant process vocabulary, including “storage silos,” “mixer,” “dough sheets,” “vegetables,” “spices,” and “labelling and sealing.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the manufacturing stages. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “mixer grander,” “scrolling through dough sheets,” and “dry this oil.” Repetition of “put into” also limits the range and precision of the description. Choose verbs that describe the specific action at each stage, and check spelling and word forms so that technical terms are clear. More accurate process vocabulary would help communicate the sequence without requiring the reader to infer what is meant.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer sequences linked with words such as “and,” “then,” and “after that.” The overall meaning is often recoverable, but sentence control is inconsistent. For example, “in the beginning flour added in the storage silos” lacks a clear subject and auxiliary, while “in this mixer mechine add some water and oil” has an incomplete verb structure. Articles and passive forms are also often missing, as in “some vegetables also spices” and “labelling and sealing the noodles packages.” Practise forming accurate passive sentences for process descriptions, such as “Flour is stored…” and “Water and oil are added…”. Clearer sentence boundaries and punctuation would also make the stages easier to follow.
