Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover the main stages in the correct general order, from flour entering the mixer through shaping, cooking, adding ingredients, and packaging. The overview also identifies the process as linear and notes its beginning and end. However, some details are incomplete or unclear: the rollers are not simply “attached to” the mixer, and the account does not clearly explain that the dough is rolled into sheets before being cut into strips. The final stage is described as labelling and sealing, but the addition of cups and labels could be reported more precisely. To strengthen the response, give a clearer overview of the transformation from flour to finished cups and describe each key transition accurately.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs describing the earlier and later stages. Sequencing expressions such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “Afterthat,” and “Lastly” help readers follow the process. However, the linking is sometimes mechanical, and some connections between stages are unclear. For example, “Afterthat, we are at 6 step” shifts into a conversational style and does not smoothly connect the cooking stage to the addition of vegetables and spices. The sentence beginning “In addition” also combines several actions without clearly showing their order. Use more precise stage-to-stage links and maintain a consistent, neutral report style; clearer sentence boundaries would also improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant process vocabulary, including “mixer,” “dough sheets,” “dough strips,” “cook,” “dry,” and “labeling and sealing,” so the reader can identify the main stages. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make parts of the description difficult to interpret. Examples include “storage soils” for silos, “cutted” for cut, “noodles dics,” and “whoever brand that belongs too.” Some expressions, such as “not make it wet,” are also informal and imprecise for an academic process description. Build accuracy with the diagram’s exact terms and use concise process verbs such as “transfer,” “roll,” “slice,” “cook,” and “package.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the overall sequence is usually understandable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur often enough to make some sentences awkward. For instance, “manufacturing … is a linear process consist of 8 steps” needs a correctly formed clause, while “water and oil is added” has a subject–verb agreement problem. “Dough sheets is made” and “labeling and sealing is happened” also show difficulty controlling passive forms and agreement. Try using a consistent present simple passive for this process, such as “the dough is rolled” and “the noodles are dried,” and check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly matched verb.
