Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover the main sequence from flour storage through mixing, shaping, cooking and packaging, and your overview identifies the eight stages and the broad start-to-finish process. Most details match the diagram, including adding water and oil, forming sheets and strips, and cooking with oil before drying. However, some stages are not fully or precisely reported: the noodles are formed into discs before cooking, and vegetables and spices are added to the cups at the filling stage; your wording suggests the noodles are placed in cups first and then the ingredients are added. The overview also refers to “cutting” rather than clearly summarising the shaping stages. Report the key transformations and final additions more precisely to make the process fully clear.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction and overview are followed by the stages in sequence. Numbering the steps from “Firstly” to “Eightly” helps the reader follow the process, and the paragraph break separates the overview from the detailed account. However, the repeated ordinal transitions make the progression somewhat mechanical, and several sentence boundaries are awkward. For example, “Starting with transporting raw material…” is a fragment after the overview, while “Moreover” does not express a meaningful contrast or addition there. Some links between actions are also unclear, particularly the cup-filling stage. Use complete sentences and vary transitions by showing sequence or result, while keeping each stage’s relationship explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant process vocabulary such as “storage silos,” “rollers,” “dough sheets,” “strips,” “discs,” and “sealed,” which makes the manufacturing stages recognisable. There is also some attempt to vary wording with phrases such as “raw material” and “finished goods.” However, several choices are imprecise or unnatural for this diagram: “manufacturing platform,” “cutting process,” and “cup noodles making” do not describe the stages as clearly as standard process language would. Spelling errors, including “whith,” “cooing,” “labled,” and “Eightly,” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of process verbs and check spelling and collocations so that vocabulary communicates the steps naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex forms, including passive constructions such as “are added” and “are then converted,” which suit a process description. The sequence is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. “Starting with transporting…” is an incomplete sentence, and “dough are then rolled” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. There are also problems with verb forms and sentence construction in “noodles undergoes” and “then add up with spices,” where the subject and action are not expressed accurately. Spacing before punctuation and inconsistent sentence boundaries further affect control. Practise complete passive sentences with plural subjects—for example, “the noodles are cooked”—and connect stages without leaving introductory phrases as fragments.
