Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the process as having eight stages and give a relevant overview from storage and mixing through to the final packaging. The main sequence is mostly recognisable, including adding water and oil, forming sheets and strips, shaping the noodles, cooking and drying, and adding vegetables and spices. However, some stages are described unclearly or incompletely: the flour is delivered to the silos, rather than the silos being obtained, and the rollers’ role in forming sheets and strips could be stated more precisely. The final stage should clearly say that cups are labelled and sealed; “sealing into the rapes and cups” does not accurately report the diagram. More precise coverage of these details would make the account more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and a description of the stages in sequence. Connectors such as “moreover,” “after this process,” and “finally” help the reader follow the production line. However, the overview repeats the idea of eight stages and compresses several steps into a difficult-to-follow sentence. Some transitions are mechanical, and references such as “after the stage” and “the material” do not always make clear which product or stage is meant. Organise the body into clearer stage groups and use precise references—for example, “the dough” and “the noodle discs”—to improve progression and cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant process vocabulary, including “storage silos,” “dough sheets,” “rollers,” “cooking,” “drying,” and “labelling and sealing,” so the reader can identify much of the production sequence. There are also attempts at more specific wording, such as “circular shape.” However, inaccurate word choice, spelling, and collocation sometimes make the description unclear: “lebal,” “Addtionally,” “rapes,” “boost up its taste,” and “the noodles are came into its discs shape” are examples. Some phrases are also unnecessarily repetitive, such as “manufacturing of making.” Use standard process verbs and check spelling; precise choices such as “are shaped into discs” and “seasoning” would make the account more natural and accurate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the response generally follows the stages in a comprehensible order. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur in several places. For example, “The making of noodles start” needs subject–verb agreement, while “the noodles are came” combines incompatible verb forms. The clause “after the cooking the process of drying is starts up” also has an incorrect verb pattern and article use. Punctuation is sometimes awkward, particularly where a comma joins or separates ideas without a clear sentence boundary. Practise accurate passive forms for processes, such as “the dough is rolled” and “the noodles are dried,” and check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
