Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is believed by some that advertising is quite important in order to gain public attention, thay way ad owner can increase his sells. On ther hand, other argue that nowadays people does not give any reaction to ad.in this pharagraph, i will discuss both viewpoints and share my perspective. I believe it is depends on the ad owner, how creative way he portray his products.

On one hand, some proportion of people says that ads are quite important beacuse, it boosts products sells, and also that object can gain so much popularity. In order to, increase your sells you need to create something creative that will help you to give a big impression toward public, that attract people. And following this method business owner are earning profitable money. For example, people who start a business needs a proper attention from people, in order, to do that owner needs a add where he introduce his product unicq way to people, that way owner can convene people to buy his products.as a result, he can grow his business and focuse on his products

Othe othe other hand, some proportion of individuals thinks advertising is so common in this days and people does not give any attention. Nowadays everyone owns a business additionally, in order to promote there product they run ad regardless of products or ad. People gets irritate after seeing so many ad, that is why people does not care about ad anymore.one main reason is most of the products are scame, do not provide actual product. After getting scammed so many times now people realise that maximum products are real, moreover there is no creativity, for that reasons most of the people ignore ad.

From my point of view, lack of creativity on ad and bacuse of that reason people are loosing there interest on ads. Despite the ad people does not care about products, they does not no how to make a creative ad. One creative ad can change the whole sells, so it is important to have a proper introduction of your products in a creative way.

To sum up, it depends on the ad , the owner try to portray his products to public that way he can gain proper attention.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a personal position: you explain that advertising can help a business attract customers, while also arguing that people ignore frequent or untrustworthy ads. Your view that success depends on creativity is present in the introduction and conclusion. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The first view is supported with a general example of a new business, but the second relies on broad claims that products are often scams and ads lack creativity, without a specific illustration or fuller explanation. Your position also shifts slightly: you say success depends on the owner’s creativity, but later suggest people do not care about products generally. Develop each view with clearer reasoning and make your final opinion consistent throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, a paragraph giving your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help readers follow the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to track. In the first body paragraph, several ideas about sales, popularity, and business growth are joined into a long sequence, while the second repeats the point that people ignore ads. Some linking phrases are awkward or mechanically used, and references such as “that way” do not always make the connection between ideas clear. Use shorter, more focused paragraphs and make each sentence build on one central point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “public attention,” “popularity,” “creativity,” and “promote,” and you attempt to express ideas about advertising’s effects on businesses and consumers. However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “increase his sells,” “give a big impression toward public,” “convene people,” and “products are real,” where the intended meaning is unclear or the phrasing is unnatural. Repetition of “people,” “products,” and “ad” also limits precision. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases, such as “boost sales,” “capture consumers’ attention,” and “become desensitised to advertising,” and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “that” and “because,” and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, complex sentences are often not controlled successfully, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries occur throughout. For example, “people does not give” should use a plural verb, while “it is depends” has an incorrect verb pattern. Several sentences run together, as in “...buy his products.as a result,” and punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent. These errors sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with one subordinate clause, checking subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
