Student answer (Band 5.0)
This modern world is surrounded by advertising.whatever we do ,whatever decision we take in our daily life is the result constant agreesive advertising.so i totally agree with views that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things.every purchase is biased.
in this modern times there are many form of advertising such as banner, billboard, social media advertising, influencer advertising and many more.companies spends billions of dollars in advertisement just to sell their products.Although there are some diffrences in companies some tries to sell the particular product some tries to their brand name.so those companies are not making their money into trash! of course their have to be something in advertisement.they read human psychology, behaviour, instict, money spending nature everything and then they make just the right shot to sold their product.nowdays people started to not beliving advertisement so much so they change the way of advertisement.companies started hiring popular celebrity, actor, athletes even influencer.those popular personalities influence our decision. so they pay them to use their product. And those small thing leaves long term effect on our mind.and we ended up buying that thing.
most of the people on this planet earth know coke.whenever we want to drink a soft drinks we go to shop and told that give me a coke.i bet no one say give me a soft drink.their product advertisement was so successfull that nowdays they dont sell their product in their advertisement anymore they sell happiness.what do u think why they still spending their money on advertisement thats because they want to be in humans subconsious mind.
so whenever we see a advertisement it does not matter wheather we pay attetion or not its still leave some mark on our subconsious mind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that advertising persuades people, and you support this with examples such as celebrity endorsements and Coca-Cola’s branding. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the opposing view—that advertising is so widespread that people no longer notice it—is only briefly acknowledged in “people started to not beliving advertisement so much.” You do not explain this view in its own right or weigh it against your opinion. Several claims, such as “every purchase is biased,” are also broad and need qualification or evidence. To strengthen the response, give the opposing argument a developed paragraph, then explain why you find persuasion more influential overall. The response meets the required length; 11 words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an opening position, examples about advertising methods and Coca-Cola, and a concluding statement. The examples generally relate to the central claim, so the reader can follow the main line of thought. However, progression is limited because the opposing view is not developed, and several ideas are crowded into one long paragraph. Connections between points are sometimes abrupt, as in the move from companies studying psychology to hiring celebrities. Linking phrases such as “Although” and “so” are used, but some do not clearly express the relationship between the ideas. Use separate paragraphs for each view and your conclusion, and make each paragraph develop one main point with clear transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of advertising vocabulary, including “influencer advertising,” “human psychology,” “subconscious mind,” and “brand name.” These choices help communicate your topic and show attempts to use more specific language than basic everyday terms. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent enough to make parts less fluent, for example “agreesive,” “diffrences,” “instict,” and “successfull.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “make their money into trash,” “make just the right shot,” and “leaves long term effect.” Aim to learn accurate collocations alongside new vocabulary, and proofread spelling. More precise wording would make your argument clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast introduced by “Although” and a cause-and-effect explanation about companies using celebrities. This gives the response some structural variety. However, errors are frequent, and several sentences are difficult to process because of faulty agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation. For example, “companies spends” should have a plural verb, while “their have to be something” has an incorrect subject and verb pattern. The opening also contains sentence fragments and comma splices, and capitalisation is inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a correctly joined supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries during editing.
