Student answer (Band 6.5)
Advertisement is way through which companies show their product to public. Some people think advertisement plays an important role in the selling of any item. While others think people don not rely on advertisement they buy anything from market. I am strongly in favour of advertisement has great impact on people to let them buy thing.
Now a days it is seen that companies spend large amount of their budget on advertising thing they choose different ways to attract more customers. For example if company' target is youth above age 25 years their favourite actors are shown in the commercials for children cartoon characters and superheros are being featured in advertisements. Moreover, when ever company launch any new product the way people can know about that is the advertisement.
On the contrary side most people argue that advertisements are very very common these days. Most of the time items are not up to the mark as it displayed in the tv commercials. So people are no longer paying attention to the fake promotions.
In my personal belief advertisement has a greater impact that manipulate to buy thing. These day various kind of products, gadgets and many more are launched daily and those are being advertised by the companies on our television screens, especially white we using social app advertisement always popup while scrolling pages and we get to know about what is new coming to market.
In conclusion, advertisement plays a key role in the sales of any item. People get excited to buy the product how it is being showed in commercial. With the help of advertisement we get know about the key feature of gadget what is new update is coming in new series

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that companies use celebrities to target youth, the explanation of why people might ignore advertisements (the second view) is brief and lacks depth. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation or a concrete example to support your claims. Your position is consistent throughout, but the arguments could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'On the contrary', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the connection between ideas is slightly abrupt. For example, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'commercials', 'promotions', and 'manipulate'. However, there is a reliance on basic vocabulary and some repetitive phrasing, such as 'advertisement' and 'item'. There are also minor errors in word choice, such as 'way through which' instead of 'a medium through which'. To improve, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and collocations to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include missing articles ('in market', 'on television screens'), subject-verb agreement errors ('company launch' instead of 'companies launch'), and punctuation mistakes. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are noticeable and occur regularly. To reach a higher band, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly regarding pluralization, articles, and verb tenses.
