Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both views, but the development is limited. The word count is 246, which is below the 250-word minimum, resulting in a penalty. The arguments are somewhat superficial; for example, the explanation of why people ignore ads is limited to the idea of 'patience levels' and 'disturbances'. Furthermore, while you mention your own opinion in the introduction, it is not clearly maintained or developed in the conclusion, which merely summarizes the two sides rather than providing a definitive stance. To improve, ensure you fully explore the implications of each viewpoint and meet the minimum length requirement to allow for more depth.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow is hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. Phrases like 'Prior to my stands' are non-standard and confusing. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often repetitive or incorrectly placed, such as the semicolon usage in the introduction. The progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical development of your argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally basic and occasionally inaccurate. There are several word-choice errors, such as 'promoting peoples' instead of 'persuading people' and 'reached to there target' instead of 'reaches its target'. The use of 'opine' is slightly unnatural in this context. You rely on simple, repetitive language, which limits your ability to express complex ideas with precision. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and using more academic vocabulary, such as 'consumer behavior' or 'ubiquitous' instead of 'so common'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('individuals who thinks'), incorrect pronoun usage ('there' instead of 'their'), and punctuation errors. Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when you attempt complex constructions. For example, 'it might get possible that teenagers or adults will buy it' is awkward and grammatically incorrect. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for common errors like homophones (there/their) and basic verb forms.
