Student answer (Band 5.5)
In todays fast world people says that advertising is very successful at influencing us to buy things, few people think that advertising is so normal that we do not longer pay attention to it . in this easy we will discuss both the views and, I will give my opinion to it also .
Firstly, we can say that now a days individuals prefer buying thing after seeing an advertisement at their phone , tv or in a news paper . They easily get attracted to it . For example if there a news of launch of new phone and its advertisement is there every ewer on internet the public will definitely is going to buy particular phone on very next day or at a same time. Secondly for litter children if they see an advertisement on anything they will start making insistence to there parents to buy things for them . It some times gives trouble to parents .
On the other hand adds are been ignore by the society because it is very common in todays life . Every day new - new advertisement is taking place , its not possible to every one to buy each and every thing some times things take time . In addition in todays culture individuals think that savings is more important then speeding money on buy things . For example the community will think that they should save money for there better future rader then speeding money on unusfully things .
In my opinion, I can say that advertising is improtnat for people to know new things which are going in a market and helps them to be updaeted in todays world.
In counclusion, we can say that advertising has its own binifit and draw backs on the same hand . It motived the population to buy new things and to spend more in unnecessary things too.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding the influence of advertising on children and the counter-argument about saving money are somewhat superficial and lack depth. The position is clear, but the explanation of why advertising is important in the conclusion is slightly disconnected from the body paragraphs. To reach a higher band, you should provide more detailed examples and ensure that your arguments are fully explored rather than just stated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'in this easy' (essay) and 'on the same hand'. There are also issues with referencing; for example, the transition between ideas within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt. The logical progression is present but not always smooth. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words and phrases will help create a more natural flow between your ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'todays', 'easy' (essay), 'adds' (ads), 'improtnat', 'updaeted', and 'binifit'. The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey the basic meaning, but there is a lack of precision and sophistication. You rely on simple words like 'things' and 'new-new' (which is not standard English). To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more academic vocabulary related to the topic of consumerism and marketing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement ('people says'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple, and attempts at complex structures often result in errors, such as 'if there a news of launch of new phone'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces before commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the number of errors is significant and occasionally causes the reader to pause. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors would be highly beneficial.
