Nowadays, people have different views about influenced by advertising. A number of people argue that people extremely influenced by advertising to buy something, while other think that advertising has become a ubiquitous factors in the society, that's why people no longer pay attention to it. In this essay I will discuss both views and give my own opinion.

There are several reasons why some people believe that advertisement play significant role to influence people. One possible reason is that nowadays people are closely connected social media and internet. This is because when people visit social media and internet they are influenced to various kinds of advertisement . People sometime follow they are favorite actors or sports man throughout the social media and people ofteln impressed to them. For example, a few days ago in saw that virat kholi wore a PUMA t-shirt and I wlas very inspire by him. As a result, last week I bought the same t-shirt from the jamuna shopping mall. And I think that ads are very successful to attracting customer.

Many people argue that adversiting is a very common factor in the society, so that people are not impress to it. First of all, some people think that advertising provides false information about products because sometimes customer faces several problems to buy product. For instance, last week my friend bought a facewash looked ad from an online shop. Although this product lookd very fresh, it was expired. Therefore, people lose their trust on an advertising.

In conclusion, although advertising have certains disadvantages, I believe that people are still influence by it. The reason is that they active social media and follow their famouse actors and sports man.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The first body paragraph relies heavily on a personal anecdote about a t-shirt, which is a bit narrow for an academic essay. The second body paragraph confuses the prompt's second view (that advertising is ignored due to ubiquity) with the concept of distrust due to false information. While the task is addressed, the arguments lack depth and the second viewpoint is not fully explored as intended by the prompt. The position is clear, but the supporting evidence needs to be more analytical.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First of all', 'For instance', and 'In conclusion', but they are sometimes used mechanically or with grammatical errors (e.g., 'that's why people no longer pay attention to it'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the transition between the two viewpoints could be smoother. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'it' in the conclusion, which makes the sentence structure slightly confusing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks range and precision. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'ubiquitous factors in the society' (should be 'a ubiquitous factor') and 'people ofteln impressed to them' (should be 'impressed by them'). The student uses basic vocabulary and struggles with collocations. To achieve a higher band, the student needs to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common items, and ensure they are used accurately in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'people extremely influenced' (missing auxiliary verb), 'advertisement play significant role' (missing article), and 'advertising have certains disadvantages' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is also inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on subject-verb agreement, article usage, and verb forms.
